Joseph brother's (except Benjamin) come to Egypt to buy some grain, because they had no food because of the famine in the land. Joseph is harsh with them calling them "spies". He tells them to return home and bring back their youngest brother and then he will know that they are telling the truth about their family.
CHAPTER 43-46: Now the brothers all return and Joseph ends up telling his brothers who he is. He then invites them to come live with their father in a region near him. Jacob and 70 others return to Egypt. VERSE 29: Joseph had his chariot made ready and went to Goshen to meet his father Israel. As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father and wept for a long time.
