Brew Crew Coffee-Mate Event!

This past Monday night I hosted a Brew Crew Coffee-mate EVENT! Coffee-mate sent me coupons to purchase some coffee creamers and share them with my guests. I then asked 5 questions of my guests and was able to share their feedback with Coffee-mate. It was so FUN to be able to do something like this with a group of girls!
My love for Coffee-mate has just been revealed to me over the last year and a half. I was never interested in coffee before. I loved the smell, but the bitter taste was a turn off. When I stopped nursing my last baby a girlfriend said I should try coffee with creamer and sugar. That's all it took...now I am hopelessly addicted to the wonderful sweet creamy taste of my morning coffee. My favorite flavor is french vanilla....well until this event. Now I have two favorite Vanilla Caramel and French Vanilla......ohhhh so yummy!
Here is a group of girl's holding up their cups giving a "cheers" to Coffee-Mate! Miss Abby was the winner of the nice insulated tote that Coffee-Mate sent me to give away. (You can see it in the first picture.) Isn't she so cute!
We combined our fun night of Coffee-mate with card stamping. Here is one of the cards we made! I totally love the glitter/shimmer effect on the flower.
Here is the second card project we did for the night. We had so much time just spending time together without kiddos. I plan to host a monthly stamping night at my home. A great time for women to get together to share wisdom, encourage one another, and just plain laugh.

A Belated Mother's Day.....

I ordered these great heart shaped board books from Stampin' Up back in March, thinking they would make great Mother's Day gifts. Long story short I was unable to get them until after Mother's Day which meant they were not ready in time.....but I told the "Mom's" something special was on the way. So here us how they turned out. This first picture is of the cover...My favorite part is the cute flower I made!

In each book I tried to include a family picture, a picture of each of the kids, and then some group shots of the kiddos. ( I refrained from showing all the pages...your welcome). I did not complete all the pages in each book so I can give them updated pictures and more pages for gifts in the near future.

I think both my mom and mil liked them...they both said they were worth the wait. I love to stamp cards and such but I have never scrapbooked things....I am pretty happy with how they turned out.

What I Used for MORE Storage

Since my crafting area has been in full swing lately I have really been wanting to get it a little more organized. I really wanted to get some more storage that was easily seen and easily to grab when I need it. This is what I came up with......

I remember seeing this idea in a quilting magazine years ago. They actually used a changing table to display their quilt collection. I decided it would make a great storage solution as well. For some reason we had not picked it yet even though we haven't used it for at least 2 years.....well I guess that came in handy this time! Don't be to impressed it is not really pretty....If I really wanted it to look cute I would have maybe painted it......I feeling lazy and just wanted to throw my things on it instead!
I left the top right section empty because I knew that it would make a GREAT card making spot. I have my stamping supplies on the 2nd shelf, and my quilting fabric on the bottom. One stack of quilting books/magazines on the left and stamping books on the right.

So the next time you need a storage solution, first look around the things you already have and think a little outside the box. You just be inspired to save yourself some $$$ and use something you already have....which will give you more $$$$$ to spend on crafting!!!!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Easter Sunday Celebration

Happy Easter! I hope you had a great morning of worship as I did. Justin and I tag teamed church today...meaning since Miss Julia is still running a fever and feeling terrible I went to early service and then came home so Justin & the boys could enjoy Sunday School and Church. What a beautiful day to celebrate Easter..the sun shining in all it's splendor for us to enjoy! Well after church, Justin and the boys headed to a family Easter while I am here holding down the fort with "sickie" (and the kitten of course). Don't feel bad for me though....while I am sad I couldn't go hang out with everyone to celebrate the day, I have been having a great day focusing on what today means to me. I also have been able to do some stamping! Here are a few projects I have completed this weekend.

I got my new stuff on Friday night.....and couldn't hardly wait to use them! I got these card ideas off You Tube of all places. Lots of great tutorials on there in case you want some inspiration of your own! I think the last card is my favorite!! It is an accordion style card, I have never made one if these before. Can't say that anymore can I? Happy Easter....isn't it so great to know we serve a RISEN Savior? You betcha!!

PMS Night! *Pizza~Meaningfull Conversation~Stamping*

I had so much fun at my first ever "PMS Night" last Friday night. I arrived at 7p or so and stamped until midnight!! Yep...you read it correctly MIDNIGHT!! Ohh so much fun and ohhh so productive as well....27 cards was my total!! I am thrilled and hope to maybe do another on in May sometime. Well I realize that some of you probably think I am totally crazy for spending so many hours stamping, so let me put it this way. NO children, NO interruptions, HOURS of creativity, adult conversation (again without interuptions), food, meeting new people, getting to use all kinds of FUN and NEW gadgets that I don't have!!!!! See.......now I bet you just might want to go along with me next time!!! Here is the array of things I got done....some of these were partial put together cards that I just put on my own cardstock....which is the only way I could get so many beautiful cards done!
