Summer Fun Part 2

Vacation BIBLE School was a big week for us.....so much fun learning solid biblical truth!

 Each day the kids learned memory verse. The bottom right picture is of all the VBS kids pre-school through the kids who just finished kindergarten.

Each day at large group the puppets did a drama skit and sang for us.

I love music time! (Although I can't sing well), the teachers make it SO FUN for the kids!

Since my oldest kids are elsewhere in the building for Day Camp I didn't get any shots of them except this one of Lance.....

To GOD be the glory for the super great week we had worshiping and learning together!

Summer Fun Part 1

I don't know if you've noticed but I haven't been around much.....here is part ONE of my reason why blogging has taken the back burner.

Sitting around the campfire is probably one of my favorite summer past times!

Julia & I attended a beautiful wedding together! (Congrats Mr. & Mrs.EVANS!)

Summer time means parade time..we helped out my Father-in-Law in a couple parades.

We enjoyed a few rides after each parade....the kids really had a blast!

Civil War Camp 2011

Lance went to Civil War Camp a couple weeks ago and he had a total blast! The Camp was 9a-3p each day with yummy lunch and snacks provided everyday for the three day camp. The camp is for 10-13 yr old kids and they have so much fun and learn a ton during those three days. Here are some pictures..

I love how the people instructing the camp even dressed in character!

They learned about ranks, standing in formation, and marching commands.

They also pretended what battle would be like and learned some dancing.

Flower Tour

Here is little photo tour of some of flowers at our place........

I planted mostly with annuals to fill in this year. I'm just up to making solid decisions on what perennials I want just yet. I think I will plan that over the winter and transform the spaces next year.

A few shots are gorgeous peonies that were given to me by my dear friend....she sends me home with a bouquet of flowers every time I go to visit! I LOVE THAT!!

Spring Pictures 2011

Aunt Janelle came over several weeks ago for a photo shoot with all the kids.....she did such an incredible job! I finally got all the pictures (350 of them) loaded onto my computer so I can finally share them with you all! There are so many good ones I've decided to show you them over the course of a few days.....so here are the first group of pictures!
