This past Saturday there was a local quilt show that was only about a half hour away from me. My wonderful Hubby said he could keep the kiddos so I was off to have some fun looking and shopping! Here are a few of the gorgeous quilts I saw. I would estimate that the show had a total of around 75 quilts...but I am just guessing.

Just a curious question for you all....How many of you quilt or sew that FOLLOW The Gaertegang?

I'm like you, someday when the kids are gone I am going to be one of those cool, artsy grandmas that makes really neat quilts. But right now it is math and laundry and running after kids! I have this great quilt project that is going to be incredible if I ever find the time to get it done.
I loved quilting and quilted right up until put on bed rest while awaiting the arrival of child #1. That one is now hanging on our living room wall and I love it. But, since then, zilch...someday I will again. In the mean time, I'll enjoy the reasons for my forced break :)
