CSN Link up....Rugs are the subject this time!
I don't know about you but I like rugs....I don't use a ton of them, but I love that they can be functional and a true decorating focal point all at the same time if you want them to be. CSN stores has tons of rugs to choose from....Modern rugs, indoor rugs, outdoor rugs, area rugs, bathroom rugs...you get the point right? Here are a few I picked out......
I love shag rugs and the way they feel...something in this color would look in the master bath.
You can cruise on over and check out what else they have...they also have a clearance section!

Question.....
I've wanted to change up our bedroom furniture for the longest time now....and I was over at CSN Stores cruising their upholstered headboards and I wondered what some of your opinions were.
Do you like wood, upholstered, or metal. My house is decorated in a primitive country style....look around over there a bit and then come back and give me a couple of your favorites I can go check out.....
Happy Monday!

Even though the main character in these series is a stong young girl named Andrea, don't let that stop you from getting this series for your boys...I should know I have three of them. My boys LOVE this series! They hang on every word and can't stand it when the chapter ends and they have to wait till the next day to find out what happens next. The Circle C Adventures series is truly a wholesome reading for the entire family. Whether you home school and need more books in your home library, or you want a great read aloud series that you can read a chapter each night to your kids, you won't be disappointed.
I realize it is a bit early to think about Christmas, but I like to start now and buy gifts to stash away for later. You might consider buying the whole set and saving yourself some money! Just a thought! (Just for the record, I am not getting paid to say any of this! I am just simply sharing my thoughts.)
Well I have been a little sparse around here this week. Why? We are in full swing around this house...school has begun for the year! I am super happy to report that our schooling has gone so wonderful the past two days! Shhh..don't say it to loud though...I don't want to set myself up for failure on Friday!
I have been on the fence about what to do with my five year old...to start Kindergarden with him or not....that was the lurking question. I have gone back a forth about a million times. I can list pro's and con's that are about a mile long. After discussion with my hubby...again...we decided to "Just do it". He is ready, he is able, he is willing, so why am I so undecisive? The jury is still out on that one.....So I am officially schooling 3 out of the 4 kids this year. Pray for me....wish me luck...call me crazy...I don't know which one you want to do first. I can honestly tell you I am having a good time and loving it so far (ask me in December and you might get a different answer....smile....).

Ecostore USA Review
A couple of months ago I was contacted by The EcoStore to review products that are made from plant and mineral-based ingredients, and are also free of toxic chemicals. The two products I chose were the Dishwash Liquid (for hand washing dishes) and the Lemon Rinse Aid. These products are made from a concentrate which means you should be able to use less of the product each time and therefore stratching your dollar farther. With that being said, I was ready to try out these products and see if they could really deliver on their promises. I am all for products that are less harmful, more economical, and environmently friendly, but they have to be able to perform as well.
What I liked about the Dishwasher liquid is that is smelled really good, and it wash gentle on my hands (it didn't dry them out). I was dissapointed with the performance of the soap. It did not cut grease well, it did not lather up well, and I found that I needed to add more of this soap than I normally use. So from my experience, I would not recommend this product.
The second product I tested was the Lemon Rinse Aid. We have soft water at our home so we don't always use a rinse aid, but when I am washing lots of plastics I like to have a rinse aid on hand. Again, I loved the smell of this product. I can not honestly say I noticed a difference between when I used the rinse aid and when I didn't.
I did receive an extra product from the EcoStore! They sent me this heavenly scented coconut bar of soap...as a thank you for waiting on my package to arrive since there were some hiccups in the shipping department. The lather was really great, it made our skin feel nice and soft, plus we all loved the smell of coconut! I loved pretending I was somewhere tropical!! So I do recommend the bar soap!
A BIG THANK YOU to The EcoStore for sending me their generous free samples to review, and for being very customer consious in their business details.

Rubbermaid Reveal Mop
I can use the microfiber pads and then wash them up to 100 times for each one!!! (It is not recommended to dry because of the microfiber fabric.) I can use any homemade or commerical solution I want and simply refill the bottle when needed. I have been extremly happy with the cleaning results with Rubbermaid Reveal! I love that not only is this a more budget friendly cleaning tool, but that because of the mop's shape it is also very user friendly and takes little effort to complete each mopping job.

Snikiddy Snacks~Mama Buzz Review~
The folks at Snikiddy sent us a FREE bag of the tasty cheddar cheese fries as part of this review. I have to tell you the first thing I wanted to know about this company was "What is up with this weird name?" So in case you want to know the same thing here is a blurb from their site. I think after reading this you might understand their products a bit better.
How Snikiddy Got it’s Name:
Snikiddy® is a shortened (and let’s face it, easier to say) form of the word persnickety, which means choosy or picky. Growing up, Janet (Mary’s mom) and her siblings were known around school as the Snikiddy kids (a badge they wore proudly) because they always ate healthy lunches. Their mom (Grandma), ahead of her time with her passion for good health, would pack their lunch boxes full of locally grown organic produce and very simple foods. A teacher once referred to them as being persnickety and the kids’ version of the word (snikiddy) stuck.
Grandma’s passion for healthy eating was obviously contagious. It was passed from generation to generation and in 2006 Janet and Mary founded Snikiddy®. At Snikiddy®, we are persnickety about our products – whether we’re insisting on top-quality ingredients or simple ingredients such as real cheese, potatoes and corn, we take pride in every product we make and are confident that these snacks would pass the true test…your family’s! We thank you for being Snikiddy® about your snacks too!
We got just a small bag to review, and boy was it gone at record speed! I had everyone in my family try some and everyone liked it! I think these snack are genius really. A great tasting product that uses all natural ingredients, but still satisfies your snack cravings. I think it's great that this company has gone out of the way to offer a product that tastes really yummy, but without all the yucky stuff ! (see below for more details) I plan to buy them again for my family to enjoy. We don't typically buy a lot of snack food around here, so I plan to purchase them on occasion as a special treat. In case your wondering how much this snack will cost you, $1.79 for a 4.5 oz bag.
If you are curious to find out what other flavors Snikiddy offers, which is ALOT, be sure to go check out their site. While your there sign up for their newsletter and get a COUPON so you can try them yourself. If your into all the social networks be sure to follow them on Twitter or Facebook.
Here is a little more detailed information about the fine products at Snikiidy!

- All Natural
- Gluten-free
- Wheat-free
- No corn syrup
- Peanut-free

Organic Valley Product Review
Below is some information from their website:
Organic Valley, the farmer-owned cooperative, has been around since long before there was a government-sanctified definition of organic. We had to create our own standards, and to this day our definition of organic goes above and beyond the strict organic production rules of the USDA. We think of organic in terms of interdependence—between customers, farmers, employees, communities, animals, and the earth. We consider all of these relationships when we produce our organic milk, organic cheese, organic butter, organic yogurt, organic eggs, organic juice, organic soy milk, organic produce, and organic meats.
Growing Organically
When we started up in 1988, we knew that if we produced foods that were organically healthy and delicious, people would buy them. Well, it went far beyond that. Our foods began winning awards. Fans of our milk and cheese wanted more, and suggested lots of additional products. They loved the fact that we were producing such delicious foods without the use of antibiotics, synthetic hormones, or pesticides. Lots of farmers liked us, too. They saw our mission – saving family farms – and our cooperative business model as a real opportunity for a healthy future on their farms. Family farms from across the country joined our co-op, so we created a regional model that today lets people buy milk from farms close to home, wherever they live.
My review:
In my recent adventure to try to feed my family more wholesome foods, I discovered Organic Valley. They were very responsive to giving me some coupons so I could try out their products and see what I thought. I was sent FIVE coupons that would let me try out FIVE Organic Valley products for FREE! I was really interested to see if I could taste a difference in what I normally buy and the Organic Valley products. I sent my Hubby to the store where these products were available he came home with only cheese products. This was actually okay with me, since we go through cheese at a rapid rate. I noticed right away that the cheese seemed to be creamier. We also got to try Feta cheese for the first time. Ohhhh my the kids totally loved it...me too for that matter! The cost to buy these cheese was $5.99 per block of cheese (sorry I don't remember the ounce amount you got for that price). To me, that was pretty steep. In the same breath, I will also say that there is alot of heart that seems to go into their products. This company is all about using local farmers to make their products. Real people, in real farming communities that make it their passion to provide others with truely the best products. One thing that is very helpful when buying these products is that Organic Valley provides provides a resource where you can go and print off wonderful coupons!! Gotta LOVE that!
I would say the only other down side is that these products are not sold in my immediate area where I live. To get any type of selection of these great products I have to drive 35 minutes to the nearest store. So in all honestly, I would LOVE to use these products again, but I know my ability to get to town to get them is limited. So when I am in town I WILL make it a point to stop by and stock up on few things, but I know I can't use these exclusively. I hope that you will stop by and print off some coupons and try some products as well. Organic Valley also has a store locator on their site so you can check to see where the closest store to you is located.
Thank you to Organic Valley for being so willing to send me generous coupons so I could try out their products. I also am thankful for the things I have learned from there website, which helps me to be a more informed shopper!

CSN Stores Review
One thing that I have wanted to incorporate into my landscaping is bird feeders. I wanted to the bird feeders to not only reflect the style of our property, but be very durable and functional at the same time without breaking the bank.
The Heritage Bird Feeder is the first feeder I chose. The style of this feeder is the first thing that drew me in, and secondly that fact the this product is MADE IN THE USA! This feeder is made of hard resin plastic making it very durable to the elements outside. I really like how easy it is to put the feed into the feeder. My children can do this all by themselves without a problem. I am very excited that just two days ago we saw our first visitors eating a snack. I would recommend this product with two thumbs up.
The Barn Hummingbird Feeder was the second feeder I chose to try out. I have wanted a hummingbird feeder for years, but for some reason had never picked one up. I have several hummingbirds each year that come to visit my coral bells, and I think this feeder will give them one more reason to come and visit. Again, this product is MADE IN THE USA...love that! It is also made of the same durable plastic material as the Heritage feeder. I really love the "barn" style of this feeder which goes along with our homestead great. I don't think it is quiet warm enough yet for my hummingbirds to come and visit me, but I will be ready when they come! Another thing that I liked was that the feeder is so reasonably priced at $14.95. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to attract beautiful hummingbirds to their property!

~Castle Baths Review~
I was sent this wonderful Sweet Dreams Vanilla Lavender soap to review from Castle Baths! One thing that caught me right away was I could read and understand all the ingredients that were in the soap (all natural)!! When I opened the box the smell hit my nose right away.....ahhhhh! I LOVE the smell of lavander!!! I took the soap out to look at it and study it a bit....honestly it was such a pretty soap. As you can see in the picture it is dark in color...with some brown variations in it....this was a soap I didn't mind leaving out for everyone to see! The next thing that struck me was the size of the bar. Instead of being longer and rectangler in shape, this bar was square and bulkier in size. To me that is a good thing. I have been using this soap now for about 3 weeks and I can tell a difference in this soap even compared to other natural soaps I have used. The lather is wonderful, I can feel the oils lathering my hands while the soap goes to work cleaning. When I rinse off my hands they let our a sigh I think. They feel so clean and yet refreshed and soft all at the same time. I know this is funny but I actually find myself going to sink to wash my hands with this soap constantly because I love how my hand feels afterward. For me to say that is a big deal, because I am actually not a "bar of soap kind of gal." Well that is what I used to think anyway....that theory has now gone out the window!
Be sure to go hop around Castle Baths site to check out all of their wonderful products they offer! Check out these fun soaps...
