It is just me, or does time seem to be moving at an unreal pace as I get older? I mean come one 2011! It's hard to imagine another year flying by me faster than the last....but it's true. 2010 was truly a magical year for our family in so many ways I can't even begin to tell you all the details. What I can tell you, is that I am looking forward to where the Lord will take us in 2011. I am excited about my ministry as a mom, and my children's school teacher. I am passionate about serving my husband and being the best helpmate to him as I can be. I am thrilled with becoming an aunt again in July 2011!!! I hope this holiday season has brought you as much joy as mine has. I look forward to blogging about our adventures in the new year ahead and invite you all to join me along the way.

I know I haven't been around a whole lot in the past 2-3 weeks. This is a very busy transition time for our family. September is a crazy busy month for us...I won't list all the reason why, just take my word for it..smile! I am now schooling three kids during the day, plus trying to keep a little certain 3 yr old involved as well so she doesn't feel left out. Along with all this there are still mama jobs that need done! So I guess I have been trying to prioritize this here at The Gaertegang, unfortunately that means I don't have time or energy left to blog. I do have a fun review and giveaway coming soon....as in the next week or so! So you can be keeping your eyes peeled for it!
I have been stealing away some time on the deck to read a book....ohhh so nice when that happens! I hope you are enjoying some fall weather in your neck of the woods and soaking them all in before the whole season passes us by. Until next time.....God bless you.
Not sure how much you will hear from me this week. This mama is feeling really yucky...sinus/allergy stuff going on...double yuck! We are pulling together the last details of redoing our office space, which leads to much re-organizing all of our homeschool materials. We also sold our camper, so we are cleaning that out and getting it ready for a new home this weekend. We signed the boys up for soccer...Good-bye Saturday mornings....
Does anyone else wonder if summer "break" is really a break at all? I think all I have done is complete one project after another...but it is a "break" from the normal happenings I guess. It does feel great to be so productive, but I think I am ready for a REAL "break" for a little while....nice thought in theory, hope I can make it a reality real soon.

I just thought I would check in and say hello! I haven't forgotten to blog...just nothing blog worthy lately with us. I have been working away at reading some good books, getting ready for the upcoming women's retreat at church, and schooling my boys! I did get an exciting email today from a gal about reviewing some REALLY CRAZY GOOD SOFTWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so pumped about that...we shall see if it all works out though. We did get some great news today about our REFUND on our taxes!! Exciting...and keeps us moving in the direction to meet our BIG Goal of mortgage payoff by December. Well that about sums it up for me this week so far. Thanks for checking in....come back soon!

I came across this link from another blog I follow....she passed it on...and I thought it was so interesting and I have only started to read the blog just now. I wanted to pass it along to you all as well. I love that through this family's blog we can pray for very specific things for them and the country of Haiti.
I thought I would take a second and share with you a new blog (well new to me). It's called Finding Joy In My Kitchen.....I have really enjoyed checking it out!! This blog is very user friendly and organized really well...making recipes easy to find!!
I have tried several of her recipes Apple Crisp, Blackberry bars (I used blueberries instead), and Lemon Herbed Chicken in the crockpot. I am really wanting to try homemade bagels that she just posted this week. So if you seem to be stuck in pattern of making the same old thing for your meals, stop by and visit this blog and you'll find a whole host of new things to try!!
Good Wednesday to you all! I wanted to share some fun news with you...yesterday was my ONE year blogging anniversary and was also the day my 100th follower signed on.....FUN HUH??!! Okay so I am sure you really don't care, but I am tickled pink about it...grins....

I thought I would share some exciting news with you all......I found out about a new program starting up called MAMA BUZZ. It is a group of Christian Mommy Bloggers who get to review products in their own home then you write reviews on these products (Similar to the TOS Home School Crew I think.) You get to choose which products you want to review....BONUS!!! I filled out my application and have been accepted into the program, which I am totally excited about!!! I thought I would share this with you all in case you were interested in this program for yourself. If you click on the link I have on my left sidebar that says MAMA BUZZ that will take you to the site where you can check out the requirements, rules, requirements, ect. I don't know where they stand in the process, but they were looking for the first 100 accepted applications as of late last week.
So keep your eyes peeled for some reviews to come...although I expect it to be a little while before all the details come together......

Well I did it!! I am a newbie of twitter!! Don't ask me how to navigate anything at this point...because I am really still clueless at this stage in the game....So I am going to give you a chance to educate me....my first issue I can't upload a photo...it says my pic is to big.....so how do I make it smaller if I don't have any fancy photo shop stuff?

Well here at the Gaertegang we are starting school this week!!! On Tuesday to be exact....we are busy Monday with a dentist appt. and couple get together with friends.......We are schooling 3 days this week....trying to find our groove and get used to the new school of the day!
So with all that said, I might be sparse in my blogging this week! I plan to post "Seeking Financial Freedom" series as usual on Wednesday...but other than that I am not going to promise anything.
In the mean time feel free to leave a comment or send me an email on something you enjoy from my blog.......I like knowing what people want to hear more (or less) about!!!!
